MEET THE OWNER

Robyn Grieve began her career in conveyancing in 1984 working in a law firm specialising in property law.  In 1999 she began her own conveyancing business, RM Grieve Property Transfers.  In 2013 Robyn took a position in the corporate sector committed to providing education to lawyers and conveyancers in the area of risk management when buying and owning property in Australia.  After 11 years in the corporate sector Robyn’s journey in the property world has brought her right back to where she feels she belongs and she’s excited to use her decades of experience to help guide you through your own property journey.

Are you selling a property?  To start with you need to provide your selling agent with a Section 32 Statement which contains all the information required to be disclosed to whoever buys your property.  It is extremely important that this document is prepared in the correct manner as any omissions or errors may lead to the loss of the buyer you thought you had secured.  Let us handle the preparation of your Section 32 Statement, helping you to ensure your obligations are met.

Buying a property is a big decision, let us guide you through the complex process.  We’ll be happy to check the Contract before you sign it to ensure you understand your obligations throughout the transaction and advise you of any amendments that may be required to protect your position.  We’ll also check the seller’s Section 32 Statement and advise on things such as easements, covenants, outgoings and many other details a Section 32 Statement reveals, or should reveal.  There is a myriad of information that can be found in a Section 32 Statement and sometimes more importantly there is information not disclosed that could present a problem in the future.  We will advise on some inherent risks that exist in property ownership and how some of those risks can be managed.  Our experience in risk management in the conveyancing industry is second to none.
